General Terms and Conditions

§ 1 Area of application
All deliveries and services provided by Schick Beauty AG are based on the following General Terms and Conditions as amended from time to time. General terms and conditions deviating from these General Terms and Conditions will only be accepted by Schick Beauty AG if confirmed by Schick Beauty AG in writing. This written confirmation requirement does not apply for individual side agreements.
§ 2 Registration, password
Some web pages of Schick Beauty AG are password-protected. The access to these pages is restricted to registered customers in order to protect personal information and business transactions. Schick Beauty AG is not subject to any registration obligation. Schick Beauty AG especially reserves the right to subject pages that have been freely accessible to a registration obligation. Schick Beauty AG is entitled at any time to revoke access authorisations by blocking the access information; especially if the customer has provided incorrect registration information. Closed agreements are not subject to the above-mentioned provision. User data enable the customer to submit orders, download information, participate in the forum as well as to access and change his data.
§ 3 Contract closure
A customer order is deemed as an offer for a contact closure. The receipt of the customer's offer is confirmed electronically. By sending an invoice, Schick beauty AG accepts the offer.
§ 4 Prices
All prices indicated on the SQOOM homepage include the legal value-added tax plus shipping costs. The prices indicated on the date of order are applicable. Outside of EU: The customer shall be liable for any costs for taxes (incl. VAT), fees and any type of duties.
§ 5 Payment
The invoice amount is collected via credit card or COD.
§ 6 Delivery and delivery term
Schick Beauty AG and the customer agree that the goods are delivered promptly through a courier service appointed by Schick Beauty AG upon acceptance of the order. The goods are subject to a retention of title by Schick Beauty AG until the final credit of the payment on the bank account of Schick Beauty AG. In case of transport damages, Schick Beauty AG and/or the courier appointed by it are not liable for slight negligence. The delivery is delivered within 14 days from the order date.
§ 7 Right of withdrawal
The customer is entitled to revoke his contract declaration within two weeks from the date of receipt of the goods. The withdrawal requires no justification and must be submitted to Schick Beauty AG in writing (letter, fax, email) or by returning the product. Punctual dispatch suffices to comply with the time limit. The withdrawal must be sent to:

When exercising his/her right of withdrawal, the customer is obligated to return the goods in original packing. Used or even partially used consumables will be billed by the piece at the puchase price. The customer exercising his/her right of withdrawal is responsible for the return charges unless the price of the delivered goods exceeds an amount of EUR40.00 or the delivered goods do not correspond to the ordered goods or are defective. The customer is obligate to pay a compensation for any deterioration caused by proper commissioning. The customer is allowed to check the delivered goods carefully and diligently. Any loss of value caused by a customer use exceeding the examination that impedes the goods from being sold as new shall be borne by the customer.
§ 8 Guarantee
The guarantee is provided according to the legal regulations, with Schick Beauty AG being entitled to redelivery or repair at the customer's option in case of defective goods. If the repair fails or the subsequently delivered goods are equally defective, the customer is entitled to a reimbursement of the paid purchase price upon return of the goods or a reduction of the purchase price. The guarantee period is 2 years. The customer is obligated to inform Schick Beauty AG immediately of any obvious defect.
§ 9 Jurisdiction, applicable law, miscellaneous
If the customer is a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is Rottweil. The German law applies with the exclusion of the Uniform Law on the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
